An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Logistics Supervisor to join the operational Facilities Management team at The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust.
We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic person with previous supervisory experience who would like to be part of a high-performing management team. The post holder will supervise a team of support portering services, linen, and laundry services.
The Facilities Team provides a professional in-house service which plays a key role in the Trust's overall performance, reflected in our values and behaviours.
This is a full-time position. The shift pattern will be 37.5 hours per week, working 5 days over 7 with varying shifts in a 24-hour period.

The Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for leading the daily delivery of an efficient, effective, customer-focused quality service in accordance with the National Standards of Healthcare.
The scope of the service involves supervising a team of Porters for service delivery.
You will have the ability to plan, act, and monitor your own and your team's performance. You need to be adaptable, self-motivated, and able to set clear, achievable goals at individual, team, and operational levels.
You will work collaboratively with key partners, support clinical teams, and establish and maintain good working relationships. You will have clear communication lines with Line Managers, Clinical Managers, Teams, Trust Staff, external organisations, and the public.
