Job summary

Smith+ is seeking a motivated Operations Associate to support loan and trade activities in a busy warehouse setting. You will inspect and test surgical equipment, verify loan documentation, unpack and prepare loan sets for dispatch, and coordinate in-house courier shipments.

You\'ll also perform system tasks in Mymediset, SAP, and Movemedical, cycle counts, reporting, and replenishments. The role is hybrid with generous benefits, requires physical work up to 80% of the time, and includes

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and an organised, methodical approach.
• Comfortable with physical work (up to 80% of the role).
• Ability to follow processes and handle medical equipment with care.
• Basic computer skills, including Outlook and Excel.
• Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, medical devices, or loan sets is advantageous but not essential.
• Knowledge of SAP ideal but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and perform minor functional testing of surgical equipment, consumable sets, control units, and AWM pumps.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of loan documentation prior to inspection.
• Receipt loan sets: unpacking, scanning, and verifying supplied documents.
• Pick, scan, and prepare loan sets for dispatch.
• Coordinate shipping via in-house couriers.
• Pick, pack, and ship outbound trade orders.
• Receive goods, unpack, conduct physical checks, and put stock away.
• Updating Mymediset/SAP/Movemedical.
• Additional duties such as cycle counts, reporting, replenishments, cleaning pumps, etc.

What will you be doing?

Loan Operations and Trade Operations (40%)

• Inspect and perform minor functional testing of surgical equipment, consumable sets, control units, and AWM pumps

System work (40%)

• Updating Mymediset/SAP/Movemedical
• Additional duties such as cycle counts, reporting, replenishments, cleaning pumps etc.
