Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is seeking a Shipping/Logistic Coordinator in Ashford to support our client for a maternity cover period. You will coordinate shipping, select transport modes, manage carriers, and oversee export documents in SAP.

You will liaise with Quality Control to confirm conformity, translate customer requirements to shipping personnel, and help implement export procedures while ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.

Qualifications

2–3 years experience in logistics
Good knowledge of transportation supplier landscape
Familiarity with local and international transport and customs regulations
Experience with export documentation in SAP

Responsibilities

Coordinate shipping of products, including transport method, pick-up times and carriers
Oversee preparation of export shipping documents in SAP
Communicate customer-specific requirements to distribution/shipping personnel to ensure on-time processing
Liaise with Quality Control to validate conformity of materials to be shipped
Assist in developing and implementing export transportation procedures and filing maintenance
Conduct systematic controls to ensure adherence to transport and customs regulations
Execute other tasks as required by supervisor
