DPD Leicester is seeking an experienced Shift Manager to strengthen depot operations leadership. You will work with our Owner Drivers and Employed Drivers to keep the team engaged, manage performance and ensure outstanding service.

You will drive KPIs, optimise routes, oversee scanner/load processes, and ensure documentation and safety standards are met. This role suits a proactive leader in a fast-paced transport environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Achieve depot targets for Core Routes.
• Meet Stops Per Route (SPR) targets.
• Set and optimise delivery and collection routes.
• Ensure drivers scan and load vans safely.
• Maintain constant communication with drivers.
• Coordinate resources for ad-hoc collections.
• Complete documentation in line with requirements.
• Work with KPIs: Service, Cost, Productivity, Transport and Health & Safety.
• Ensure Depot Clear aligns with targets.
