DPD is recruiting an experienced Shift Manager to strengthen our depot operations in Feltham. You will work closely with Owner Drivers and Employed Drivers, keeping the team engaged and delivering outstanding service.

We value strong leadership, clear communication, and reliability. You will oversee targets, resource planning, and safe loading practices while maintaining comprehensive reporting and high standards of health and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced operation with people management responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills to inspire and lead a team.
• Decisive decision-making and time management abilities.
• Ability to report and analyze data for KPI tracking.
• Proficiency with Google Chrome applications and standard software.

Responsibilities

• Manage depot operations and drive performance with OD’s and employed drivers.
• Maintain engagement, motivation and safe, timely load and delivery processes.
• Monitor and achieve Core Routes targets and Stops Per Route (SPR).
• Ensure accurate documentation and systems compliance with company policy.
• Coordinate resources for ad-hoc collections and driver coverage.
• Provide clear communication to drivers to resolve issues promptly.
