Westin Par LLP in St Albans is seeking a dedicated logistics professional for a permanent full-time role. You will join a friendly, fast-paced team handling freight, quotes, bookings, and customs documentation.

The position is office-based, Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:30, with the requirement of own transport due to the location. You will develop new business, work with customers and carriers, and help grow existing accounts across international shipments.

Qualifications

• Some experience in freight, logistics, or a similar role would be great.
• Confidence with written and spoken communication.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm when busy.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and freight/CRM systems.
• Positive attitude and genuine interest in how goods move globally.

Responsabilités

• New business development (internal and field sales).
• Speak to customers, understand needs, and offer solutions.
• Work with carriers, suppliers, and overseas agents to keep shipments moving.
• Create quotes, book shipments, and sort out customs documentation.
• Problem-solve and stay on top of details.
• Spot ways to improve service or grow existing accounts.
