A leading food manufacturer in the UK is seeking team members to operate, clean, and maintain food processing equipment. The role demands a positive approach to health and safety and hygiene standards, alongside the ability to adapt to various tasks as needed. While experience in a food-processing environment is desirable, strong numeracy and literacy skills are essential. Join a dynamic team dedicated to high-quality standards in food production.
Operates, cleans, works to hygiene standards, and carries out basic maintenance of manufacturing, or packing equipment (e.g., Steriliser, seamer, filler, or packer) for the manufacture, processing or packing of food in cans/pouches. To work to agreed performance standards, OEE, Process safety, food hygiene, quality, good manufacturing practices and with due regard for the health and safety of themselves and others around them.
Experience within a food-processing environment and understanding of hygiene standards would be desirable but not essential. Competent numeracy/literacy skills Accountabilities/Competencies to be demonstrated in line with site competency matrix (see associated document).
