Job summary

EDF is recruiting a Logistics Operator for CLS Days & Nights at Hinkley Point C. The role supports logistics operations on the project, including VCAP management, delivery route bookings, and traffic marshal duties.

The position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and IT proficiency, with comprehensive training and progression paths, including CPCS Traffic Marshal qualification and HPC Medical. Competitive package and benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• CITB Operative Health & Safety Test completed before start date.
• Good IT skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a safety-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Support the management of Vehicle Control Access Points (VCAPs).
• Use electronic systems to check and manage bookings for construction delivery routes.
• Support vehicle movements within designated construction delivery areas once trained as a Traffic Marshal.
• Ensure safe use of pedestrian crossings for workers on site.
• Work closely with both blue and white-collar teams across the project.
• Help maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
