Job summary

EDF HPC is seeking a Construction Delivery Manager to support a specified section of Civils Works at Hinkley Point C. You will collaborate with the site-wide logistics team, planning, and client liaison, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery of works.

Key responsibilities include coordinating with site functions, reviewing documents, and maintaining daily site logs. Strong reporting, organisation and stakeholder-management skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Delivering projects, including construction sequencing, recovery plans and resource allocation.
• Good understanding of the post holder's obligations under the CDM Regulations.
• Able to write informative, concise and meaningful reports.
• Experience of operating in a high-security environment is advantageous.
• Experience within the Nuclear environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Recommend temporary measures to mitigate against safety and/or quality concerns. Take appropriate action to avoid cessation of work.
• Monitor on-site works and record findings in a construction daily site log; escalate issues via detailed reports.
• Coordinate with site functions (H&S, quality, surveillance, commercial, project controls, logistics) and other Construction Delivery Managers.
• Organise and conduct PLOD/PLOW meetings with the contractor and ensure outputs are recorded and issued to the Senior CDM.
• Undertake and record safety and/or assurance inspections that support the project HSPI's.
