Job summary

EDF Energy Limited requires a Traffic Marshal/Plant & Vehicle Marshal to manage plant and vehicle movements on a major infrastructure site in the UK. You will handle vehicle access, direct deliveries, and ensure safe traffic flow around active work areas, working closely with site teams and operators.

The role demands CPCS/NPORS qualification and CSCS card, with a strong emphasis on health and safety and clear communication with drivers and site staff. Prior marshaling experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven understanding of health and safety on construction sites.
• Valid CPCS/NPORS Plant & Vehicle Marshal qualification.
• CSCS card required for access to sites.

Responsibilities

• Marshalling plant and construction vehicles safely around site
• Controlling vehicle movements, access and egress
• Directing deliveries to designated areas
• Safely managing plant, vehicle and delivery movements within a busy infrastructure environment
• Maintaining pedestrian and vehicle segregation
• Communicating clearly with drivers, plant operators and site teams
• Supporting safe traffic flow around active work areas
• Following site traffic management plans, RAMS and instructions
• Maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism
