Job summary

Wilson James is recruiting for a Logistics Operative within our Construction Logistics Space (CLS) at Hinkley Point C. You will support logistics operations across the project, including managing Vehicle Control Access Points, checking bookings on electronic systems and assisting with vehicle movements once trained as a Traffic Marshal.

This permanent role starts at £15.72 per hour, rising to £18.63 after completing CPCS Traffic Marshal qualification and HPC Safety Critical Medical.

Qualifications

• Must have CITB Operative Health & Safety Test before start date.
• Good IT skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong communication with safety-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Support Vehicle Control Access Points (VCAPs) management.
• Use electronic systems to check and manage bookings for construction delivery routes.
• Assist vehicle movements within designated areas once trained as a Traffic Marshal.
• Ensure safe use of pedestrian crossings for site workers.
• Collaborate with blue and white-collar teams across the project.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
