Job summary

Streamlineservices in Stanford-le-Hope is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join a busy operation. You will provide administrative and logistical support, working with warehouse and transport teams to ensure orders are processed accurately and deliveries coordinated efficiently.

This temporary-to-permanent role offers an immediate start; you will handle order processing, stock reporting, communications with customers and internal teams, and help maintain records.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in logistics or warehouse administration.
• Proficient using in-house systems and standard computer applications.
• Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Processing customer orders accurately using the company’s in-house system.
• Updating and maintaining internal systems and records.
• Producing and updating stock reports.
• Providing general administrative support to the logistics operation.
• Answering incoming telephone calls and emails professionally and efficiently.
• Coordinating with warehouse teams to prepare and dispatch orders correctly.
• Liaising with transport teams regarding collections, deliveries and schedules.
• Communicating with customers regarding orders, deliveries and delivery updates.
• Responding to customer queries and resolving issues where possible.
• Preparing, checking and maintaining logistics-related documentation.
• Supporting the wider team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
• Assisting with any other duties required to support smooth operation.
