MEMS Power Generation Limited is seeking a proactive Hire Desk Coordinator based in Gillingham, Kent. You will join a 24/7 operations team, scheduling deliveries and collections of rental equipment, liaising with drivers and customers, and ensuring efficient use of our hire fleet.

The role requires strong communication, organisational skills, a driver's licence, and comfort in a fast-paced environment. Full-time, permanent, with salary around £30,000 per annum plus benefits and a generous

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Driver's license and ability to operate under pressure.
• Organised and interpersonal with good IT literacy.
• Willing to work hands-on and in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Control of all aspects of the hire department.
• Maximise utilisation of the hire plant.
• Control the cost of hire equipment.
• Analyse profit and loss per job.
• Work with sales to develop new business.
• Delivery and collection of equipment; optimise vehicle usage.
• Ensure records and data are accurate and compliant.
