Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Southampton is seeking a Logistics Documentation Analyst to manage export and compliance documentation for international shipments. You will coordinate with planners, customers and consignees to ensure accurate, timely documentation and to support GI/GR/POD processes.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-focused and able to handle multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment while adapting to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, review and manage shipping, export and compliance documentation.
• Obtain booking confirmations, shipment information and supporting documentation.
• Monitor documentation trackers and maintain accurate records.
• Review draft and final documentation and coordinate approvals.
• Support Goods Issue (GI), Goods Receipt (GR) and POD processes.
• Work with planning teams, customers and consignees to resolve queries.

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Logistics Documentation Analyst to support export operations and ensure the accurate management of shipping, logistics and compliance documentation across international markets. Working closely with planners, transport teams, customers, consignees and other stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring documentation is completed accurately, approved on time, and aligned with operational requirements to support the smooth movement of goods. A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Coordinate, review and manage shipping, export and compliance documentation.
• Obtain booking confirmations, shipment information and supporting documentation from relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor documentation trackers and maintain accurate records.
• Review draft and final documentation, coordinating approvals and managing amendments where required.
• Support the completion of Goods Issue (GI), Goods Receipt (GR) and Proof of Delivery (POD) processes.
• Work with planning teams, customers and consignees to resolve documentation queries and exceptions.
• Ensure compliance with country-specific documentation requirements.
• Provide regular updates on shipment and documentation status, highlighting risks and delays.
