Job summary

Bow Distribution is hiring a Customer Service Assistant to join our on-site team in Riddings. You will coordinate goods movement, track live deliveries, and communicate with drivers and customers to keep operations flowing smoothly.

We seek confident communicators who are highly organised and able to juggle priorities under deadlines. Strong IT skills and a proactive team-player attitude are essential; logistics experience is desirable. Benefits include healthcare and team socials.

Qualifications

• Confident communicator by phone and email (Essential)
• Highly organised with great attention to detail (Essential)
• Able to juggle priorities in a reactive, deadline-driven environment (Essential)
• Strong IT skills; accuracy important for manual processes (Essential)
• Team player with a can-do attitude (Essential)
• Experience in logistics, haulage, transport or warehousing (Desirable)
• Familiar with PODs or Transport Management Systems (Desirable)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the movement of goods from suppliers to customers or storage facilities
• Track live jobs and deliveries using the Transport Management System
• Communicate with drivers, hauliers, and colleagues to keep things on track
• Handle customer updates, delivery queries, and resolve hiccups quickly
• Work with internal teams to ensure alignment
• Manage the POD process and ensure documentation is accurate
