Job summary

Bow Distribution is seeking an experienced Customer Service Assistant to join our small but mighty team at the Amber Business Centre in Riddings. You will coordinate the movement of goods, track live jobs and deliveries, and communicate with drivers and customers to resolve issues promptly.

The role requires strong communication, exceptional organisation, and a proactive, can-do attitude. Opportunity to grow within a supportive transport operations team.

Qualifications

• Confident communicator on phone and email (essential).
• Highly organised with great attention to detail (essential).
• Able to juggle priorities in a reactive, deadline-driven environment (essential).
• Strong IT skills; some processes are manual, so accuracy matters (essential).
• Team player with a can-do attitude (essential).
• Experience in logistics, haulage, transport or warehousing (desirable).
• Familiar with PODs or TMS (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Coordinating the movement of goods from suppliers to customers or storage facilities.
• Tracking live jobs and deliveries using our Transport Management System.
• Communicating with drivers, hauliers, and colleagues to keep things on track.
• Handling customer updates, delivery queries, and resolving hiccups quickly.
• Working closely with internal teams to ensure alignment.
• Managing the POD (proof of delivery) process and ensuring documentation is accurate.
