Job summary

Prince Personnel Limited is recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator in Telford. The role is permanent, full-time, working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with a salary up to around £29,000 depending on experience.

You will coordinate shipments with hauliers and internal teams, process import/export paperwork, update systems, and help deliver excellent customer service while managing costs and schedules. On-site role in the Telford area.

• Previous logistics, freight, transport, Import / export, shipping or administration experience.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating shipments with hauliers, agents and internal teams.
• Communicating with customers, suppliers and overseas partners to keep shipments moving smoothly.
• Updating internal systems with shipment and cost information.
• Processing import and export customs documentation.
• Resolving shipment issues and keeping customers informed of any delays.
• Negotiating transport rates and supporting cost-saving initiatives.
• Preparing and sending customer invoices accurately and on time.
• Working closely with other departments to ensure excellent customer service.
• Supporting the wider operations team with day-to-day tasks as required.
• Always Following Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
• Completing training and development activities when required.
