Job summary

Focus Resourcing is seeking an Imports Coordinator to join a busy, established team in a fast-paced role in Essex. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. Salary up to £33,000 per annum depending on experience.

You will handle imports, distribution and shipping coordination, ensuring timely arrivals and accurate records. The ideal candidate will have experience in imports, logistics and distribution, strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure while

Qualifications

• Previous imports, logistics, shipping, distribution experience.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with high attention to detail.
• Calm but proactive under pressure, able to work on tight deadlines.
• PC literate and quick to learn new systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and monitor international shipments.
• Liaise daily with factory and internal team to ensure timely arrival of shipments.
• Oversee customs declarations.
• Check stock levels.
• Coordinate dispatch of customer orders with accurate picking, packing and on-time distribution.
• Daily liaison with manufacturers, suppliers and freight forwarders.
• Address issues promptly and keep customers updated.
• Review shipping charges and process customer invoicing.

Job description

Imports Coordinator required to join an established, busy and personable team asap, in what will be a fast-paced role. Hours of work will be Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4.30pm. Salary will be up to 33,000 per annum depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of imports, distribution, shipping coordination experience, and will be available to start work asap.

Duties:

• Arrange and monitor international shipments
• Liaising daily with the factory and internal team to ensure safe and timely arrival of shipments
• Oversee customs declarations
• Check stock levels
• Coordinate the dispatch of customer orders, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and on-time distribution
• Daily liaison with manufacturers, suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and freight forwarders
• Deal with any immediate potential issues, keeping customers updated at all times
• Review shipping charges
• Process customer invoicing and maintain accurate records of shipping, logistics, and operational expenses
