Job summary

Midea UK is seeking a proactive Logistics Coordinator to support the Supply Chain, ensuring accurate inventory, coordinating logistics, and delivering a high level of service to internal and external stakeholders. Based in Manchester, you will collaborate with Sales, Warehousing, and Logistics Providers to keep products moving efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a logistics, supply chain, inventory planning, or coordination role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimising excess stock.
• Coordinate customer order fulfilment activities in partnership with the Sales team.
• Plan, schedule, and manage daily logistics operations to ensure efficient product movement.
• Process customer and stock transfer orders accurately within ERP and logistics systems.
• Track shipments and proactively manage delivery exceptions, delays, and customer queries.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support stock reconciliation activities.
• Liaise with third-party logistics providers, warehouses, freight forwarders, and carriers to ensure service level requirements are met.
• Monitor supplier and logistics partner performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Support forecasting, replenishment, and demand planning activities.
• Develop, maintain, and improve logistics processes, procedures, and operational documentation.
• Prepare logistics and inventory reports, analysing KPIs to support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, customs regulations, and relevant supply chain procedures.
