HR GO Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Logistics Coordinator for an established engineering business in Bishop's Stortford. You will help run day-to-day warehouse and dispatch operations, ensuring orders are processed accurately, dispatched on time, and traceability/documentation is robust.

The role requires warehouse/logistics experience, attention to detail, and strong communication with carriers. Hours are 37.5 per week, with a 1-hour lunch break.

Responsabilidades

• Organise and coordinate day-to-day warehouse/logistics processes.
• Manage carriers: dispatch planning, performance monitoring, and cost reviews.
• Trial new carriers to ensure best service and value.
• Receive, unpack and check incoming goods and supplies.
• Book deliveries onto the internal system and maintain traceability.
• Process batch traceability and certification documentation.
• Support picking and packing products for dispatch.
• Raise dispatch notes and prepare goods for collection.
• Maintain a clean warehouse and yard; manage waste collections.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures.

Logistics Coordinator

Location: Bishop's Stortford

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 08:30 - 17:00, Monday - Friday (1 hour lunch 12:00 - 13:00)

Starting Salary: £29,250 PA

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join an established, family run engineering business who is looking to recruit a hands-on Logistics Coordinator to support the smooth running of day-to-day warehouse and dispatch operations. This role is key to ensuring orders are processed accurately, dispatched on time, and supported by robust traceability and certification documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with organising and coordinating day-to-day warehouse/logistics processes.
• Manage carriers: dispatch planning, performance monitoring, and service/cost reviews.
• Trial new carriers to ensure best service and value.
• Receive, unpack and check incoming goods and supplies.
• Book in deliveries onto the internal system and maintain product traceability where required.
• Process batch traceability and certification documentation.
• Support picking and packing products for dispatch.
• Complete accuracy checks before packing for dispatch.
• Raise dispatch notes on the internal system and prepare goods for collection by outgoing carriers.
• Keep the warehouse and yard clean and tidy; ensure pallets/packaging are removed into the FEL (Front End Loader) bins.
• Ensure the waste bin area around the FELs is clean and tidy.
• Book waste collections as required.Maintain a safe working environment, following all Health & Safety procedures.

• Proven experience in a warehouse/logistics environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a "right first time" approach (especially for checks and documentation).
• Confident using internal systems/ERP for goods-in, dispatch notes, and traceability records.
• Good communication skills and ability to liaise with carriers and internal teams.
• Organised, proactive, and able to prioritise in a busy operation.

Desirable

• Experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Experience managing traceability/batch documentation and certification paperwork.
• skilled and dedicated Warehouse Operative.
