Job summary

Confidential, located in Bishop's Stortford, is seeking a hands-on Logistics Coordinator. The role supports daily warehouse and dispatch operations, ensuring orders are processed accurately and dispatched on time with traceability and certification documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a warehouse/logistics environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a “right first time” approach (especially for checks and documentation).
• Confident using internal systems/ERP for goods-in, dispatch notes, and traceability records.
• Good communication skills and ability to liaise with carriers and internal teams.
• Organised, proactive, and able to prioritise in a busy operation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with organising and coordinating day-to-day warehouse/logistics processes.
• Manage carriers: dispatch planning, performance monitoring, and service/cost reviews.
• Trial new carriers to ensure best service and value.
• Receive, unpack and check incoming goods and supplies.
• Book in deliveries onto the internal system and maintain product traceability where required.
• Process batch traceability and certification documentation.
• Support picking and packing products for dispatch.
• Complete accuracy checks before packing for dispatch.
• Raise dispatch notes on the internal system and prepare goods for collection by outgoing carriers.
• Keep the warehouse and yard clean and tidy; ensure pallets/packaging are removed into the FEL (Front End Loader) bins.
• Ensure the waste bin area around the FELs is clean and tidy.
• Book waste collections as required.
• Maintain a safe working environment, following all Health & Safety procedures.

Starting Salary: 29,250 PA
