Job summary

Mitie is seeking a reliable Logistics Operative at our Swanwick site to coordinate receipt, movement, storage and disposal of goods across our facilities. The role involves operating forklifts and other equipment, maintaining accurate records and supporting workplace teams.

You will need a full UK driving licence, the ability to obtain SC clearance, and a proactive, safety-conscious approach. Working Monday to Friday, 40 hours, you’ll contribute to service excellence and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SC Security Clearance.
• Understanding of safe working practices, manual handling requirements and health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt, distribution, storage and disposal of parcels, equipment and other goods across multiple locations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections and stored items, ensuring audit, security and compliance requirements are met.
• Safely operate logistics equipment and vehicles, including forklift trucks, pallet trucks, flatbed trucks and tail-lift vehicles, following the appropriate training.
• Support furniture moves, workplace projects, housekeeping activities and other operational requirements across the sites.
• Provide excellent customer service when working with colleagues, customers, suppliers and service providers.
