Job summary

WR Logistics in Brighouse is seeking a proactive Logistics Administration Assistant to join their close-knit team. You’ll split time between administration, system management, and supporting warehouse operations, acting as deputy to the site leader when required.

The role suits someone with logistics, warehousing, or transport experience who can manage WMS, coordinate stock movements, and communicate with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, warehousing, transport, or supply chain operations.
• Strong administration and organisational skills.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Proficient IT skills with Microsoft Office, Excel, and email.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Counterbalance FLT licence preferred; training may be considered.
• SAP Warehouse Management experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing warehouse and transport management systems.
• Coordinating stock and shipment movements.
• Liaising with customers, suppliers, local production teams, and global partners.
• Supporting health & safety processes across the site.
• Producing reports and maintaining accurate operational records.
• Assisting warehouse staff during busy periods.
• Operating a Counterbalance FLT where required.
• Providing supervisory support and overseeing the team in the manager's absence.
• Contributing to continuous improvement across warehouse and logistics operations.
