Locum Ready is seeking a proactive Healthcare Assistant to support a GP practice in Horsham. You will help manage patient flow, perform routine clinical duties and assist the treatment room team to deliver high-quality care.

This locum role is suitable for someone with NHS primary care experience, comfortable with clinical observations, phlebotomy (if trained) and ECGs, and who can work morning or afternoon sessions on an ad-hoc or regular basis.

Qualifications

• HCA with prior primary care or NHS experience.
• Phlebotomy experience desirable.
• Enhanced DBS required.

Responsabilités

• Perform clinical observations (BP, pulse, temperature, SpO2).
• Assist with treatment room procedures.
• Conduct ECGs and assist with routine patient assessments.
• Update patient records accurately in the clinical system.
• Support clinicians with general tasks as required.
