Job summary

Service Care Legal is seeking a Locum Litigation Lawyer for a fully remote post in South East England, with occasional office or court attendance. You will manage a diverse range of cases including non-insurance litigation, debt recovery for social care fees, and property/commercial disputes.

The role requires a Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with a proven track record in complex litigation and the ability to work independently for 28–36 hours per week.

About the Role – Locum Litigation Lawyer

As a Locum Litigation Lawyer , you will be responsible for managing a broad and complex caseload, primarily focusing on non-insurance litigation, debt recovery—particularly adult social care fees—and property and commercial disputes. This position is fully remote, with occasional attendance at the office or courts preferred.

Key Responsibilities – Locum Litigation Lawyer

Managing a varied and complex litigation caseload, including:

• Non-insurance litigation
• Debt recovery, especially social care payments
• Property and commercial disputes
• Drafting legal documents, briefs to Counsel, and advisory letters
• Providing expert legal advice to clientsEnsuring compliance with relevant regulations and procedures
• Managing client relations with professionalism and efficiency
• Supporting the team in case preparation and resolution
