Job summary

Midway Care Group in Redditch is seeking a Deputy Locality Manager to oversee our residential services for adults with learning disabilities. The role is full-time and paid £28,000 per annum, with on-call responsibilities as part of a flexible rota.

You will manage day-to-day operations, ensure high‑quality, person‑centred care, develop care plans, supervise staff, and work closely with healthcare professionals to meet individual needs while maintaining compliance with MCA and DoLS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior or deputy role working with adults with learning disabilities.
• Strong understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.
• Excellent written, verbal and IT skills with the ability to prioritise, plan and organise effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the operations of residential services.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
• Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Supervise, mentor, and train a team of dedicated caregivers.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals to meet medical and care requirements.
• Monitor, evaluate, and adjust care plans as needed to ensure effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation.
• Respond to concerns promptly, following company policies, safeguarding protocols, and CQC guidelines.
