Job summary

Dishoom is seeking a big-hearted Marketing Babu to lead local marketing for a group of cafés in London and the South of England, overseeing Dishoom’s position as a top dining destination.

You’ll build relationships with landlords, residents, communities and businesses, manage a small team and a direct report, and work with central Marketing and Café Teams. A fast-paced role requiring exceptional relationship-building and commercial thinking; salary to be discussed.

Qualifications

• Experience in marketing, PR, events or similar community-facing role.
• Deep understanding of hospitality/restaurant scene and neighbourhood dynamics.
• Natural relationship-builder who connects communities.

Responsibilities

• Define local marketing strategies for multiple cafés in London and the South, aligned with central plans.
• Create cafe-specific marketing plans with Head of Restaurant Marketing and Area Manager.
• Manage a full-time direct report and part-time cafe teams; follow Local Marketing Playbook.
• Track performance analytics across operational, guest and marketing metrics; share learnings.
