Job summary

Housing 21 is seeking a Local Housing Manager to be at the heart of our Retirement Living schemes. You will deliver a professional housing and support service to residents, enabling them to live independently in their own homes with a focus on tenancy sustainment and wellbeing.

Working with the Operations Manager, you will ensure safety, engage with residents and the local community, and help residents reach consensus on local issues affecting their homes.

Qualifications

• Excellent standard of reading, writing and numeracy.
• Experience of working in the social housing sector, particularly with a focus on older people (desirable).
• Knowledge and/or experience of the issues faced by older people or other vulnerable groups (desirable).
• CIH Level 3 or 4 (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide housing and support services to residents.
• Support tenancy sustainment and resident wellbeing.
• Ensure buildings are safe and secure.
• Engage with residents and the local community.
• Assist residents to reach consensus about local issues.
