Job summary

Housing 21 is seeking a Housing Manager to lead the day-to-day housing management services within an Extra Care scheme. You will ensure safe, well-maintained homes and compliant operations to support residents’ independence and dignity.

The role emphasizes coordinating repairs, managing contractors, and delivering high-quality tenancy management with a strong focus on customer service and resident engagement.

Qualifications

• Proven housing management experience.
• Strong understanding of health & safety and RoSH regulations.
• Experience in managing and scheduling property maintenance.
• Excellent organisational skills, including tenancy management.
• Level 4 Senior Housing & Property Management Apprenticeship / CIH Level 4 or willing to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of housing management services within an Extra Care scheme.
• Oversee upkeep and maintenance of properties, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Schedule repairs and manage contractor relationships, focusing on value for money.
• Provide excellent customer service and engage residents with activities and events.
