Job summary

The Solution Automotive Limited in Chelmsford is seeking a Local Business Development Manager to join the corporate and fleet team. This role centers on building a pipeline from the ground up with brand‑accredited training and a strong support network to open doors and create lasting opportunities.

Working Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, you receive £25,500 basic salary and £55,000 OTE, with uncapped earning potential, plus a company car and fuel card to support success on the road.

Responsibilities

• Proactively generate new business opportunities with SMEs, corporates, and leasing companies.
• Build and expand long‑term partnerships to maximise fleet sales.
• Create tailored proposals to suit client needs and ensure exceptional service.
• Collaborate with corporate and fleet teams for smooth handovers.
• Analyse the local market, identify opportunities, and boost market share.
• Report pipeline, progress and performance against targets.
