Job summary

Biffa Waste Services is seeking a Loader Operative for an immediate start in Hastings. The role involves collecting household waste, loading into a waste collection vehicle, and performing street cleansing tasks such as sweeping and litter picking.

The position operates Monday to Friday, with 40 hours per week plus overtime, and starts at 06:30 with a finish at 15:00. This is an outdoor role offering practical on-the-job training, access to Biffa Perkz discounts, and family-friendly policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manual, physical or outdoor role is desirable.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Good awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Good communication skills.

Loader Operative - Immediate Start

£13t.41per hour

Monday to Friday

Start/Finish Times: 06.30 to 15.00

40 hours per week + Overtime available

Working as part of a crew, you will be responsible for collecting bins, boxes and bags from householders and emptying them onto a waste collection vehicle and carrying out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking.
