Job summary

Biffa Group is seeking a Street Cleansing Operative at Culham Depot to help keep streets clean and tidy. You will sweep and litter pick outdoor areas as part of a team, contributing to safer, cleaner communities. This role offers a standard 40-hour workweek and a pay rate of £13.84 per hour, with outdoor work across our depot area.

Qualifications

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual duties, including sweeping, litter picking and emptying bins
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good awareness of health and safety procedures
• Reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions
• A positive attitude towards maintaining clean and tidy public areas
• Good communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with members of the public
• Willingness to wear the required PPE and follow safe working practices

A Driving Licence Is Preferred But Not Essential

Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for carrying out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking.
