Job summary

Veolia Group on the Isle of Wight is seeking a loader to join our fleet, delivering essential waste management services. The role includes heavy lifting of trade waste bins, moving containers, and servicing commercial premises across local sites. You will perform routine vehicle checks and ensure tachograph compliance while following safety policies.

A full driving licence (B) is required. The position offers 40 hours per week, a 30-minute unpaid lunch, and a salary of £27,976.00 with Veolia

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of trade waste bins and containers.
• Move and reposition heavy commercial bins and euro containers.
• Service commercial premises including shops, businesses and industrial sites.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Adhere to road traffic legislation and health & safety policies.
• Maintain accurate records including driver defect reports and tachograph compliance.
