Job summary

Veolia Group in Canterbury, UK, is seeking a Class 2 driver to join our waste collection team serving local communities. You will operate assigned routes, load and unload containers, and ensure compliance with safety and transport regulations.

The role is a full-time position at 48 hours per week, with 04:00 starts and a rota including Saturdays and bank holidays. The salary is £41,429.28 per annum plus Veolia benefits and a range of wellness and retirement programs.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
• Digi Tachograph card and CPC up-to-date.
• Waste management experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Driving to planned collection locations and moving/emptying containers.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting issues.
• Keeping the carriageway clean and handling spills as required.
