Job summary

Serco are recruiting a Refuse and Recycling Loader in Haywards Heath to join our Mid Sussex team. You will deliver a full waste and recycling service to residents and businesses, working with a professional team to keep the area clean, safe and sustainable.

The role is full-time (39 hours per week) with opportunities for weekend overtime, and a salary of £27,684 per annum plus excellent benefits. A fit, friendly team player with a can-do attitude is essential.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 7am - 3.30pm and Friday 7am - 2.30pm with 30 minute unpaid break. Options for weekend overtime.

Your efforts will help maintain high standards across the community while providing excellent customer service every step of the way.

You’ll Be Entrusted To

• Complete a pre-planned route with the driver and loaders in your team, collecting waste and recycling from residential homes and commercial properties.
• Be the public face of Serco in the community.
• Contribute to keeping the area beautiful, safe and a clean place to live and work - a responsibility we take great pride in!
