Job summary

Wythenshawe Community Housing Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, Living Well to provide day-to-day operational support across Living Well and Tenancy Audit services. The role requires safeguarding knowledge, empathy for vulnerable customers, and the ability to coordinate multi-agency support to keep people safe in their homes.

The position is fixed-term until 31st March 2028. A driving licence and access to a car are desirable as travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing casework and developing support plans for customers.
• Experience supporting vulnerable customers and families with complex needs.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, domestic abuse, homelessness, mental health, substance misuse and child protection.
• Ability to assess risk and make balanced operational decisions.
• Excellent communication, customer service and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support to Living Well and Tenancy Audit teams.
• Review casework to support compliance and learning.
• Provide oversight and escalate concerns as needed.
• Plan duty officer cover and participate in duty rota for safeguarding responsibilities.
• Prepare reports and contribute to multi-agency meetings and MARACs.
• Coordinate Tenancy Audit visits and provide management cover during absences.
