Job summary

Recovery Connections is seeking a passionate Peer Recovery Coach to support individuals through detox and early recovery using lived experience to guide and motivate. You will provide peer-led recovery support, work with clinical teams, and help participants engage in detox, stabilisation, and onward recovery planning within a 7-day service model.

You will deliver recovery-focused interventions, facilitate group sessions, and build trusting relationships to promote engagement and hope.

Qualifications

• Lived experience of recovery and a passion for supporting others.
• Experience delivering peer support or group sessions is desirable.
• Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care, coaching, or similar (or willingness to complete within 12 months).

Responsibilities

• Provide peer-led recovery support to individuals in detox and early recovery.
• Support detox and stabilisation, managing withdrawal and encouraging engagement in programmes.
• Deliver recovery-focused interventions, including group sessions and wellbeing activities.
• Work collaboratively with clinical teams, partner agencies, and support services.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment with accurate record-keeping.
