Job summary

North London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Peer Coach to support service users in community mental health settings. You will provide individual coaching using your lived experience, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to plan recovery-focused interventions.

You will co-facilitate group sessions and help navigate service planning tools, contributing to population health in Islington and surrounding boroughs.

Qualifications

• Good English and Maths at A-level or equivalent.
• Commitment to work-based learning and mandatory training.
• Completion of Camden and Islington Peer Coach training or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual recovery-oriented peer coaching sessions.
• Manage own caseload and plan interventions.
• Co-produce and deliver group support for localities.
• Use agreed tools in line with lived experience ethos.
• Advise staff on treatment options based on lived experience.
• Maintain accurate records and support multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Participate in NLFT meetings and community partnership work.
• Ensure adherence to NLFT policies and procedures.
