Job summary

Pathfinder West Sussex is seeking a Mental Health Service Manager to lead co-production, represent lived experience in strategic groups, and drive service improvement grounded in personal experience.

The role focuses on West Sussex, with a commitment to partnership working across voluntary and statutory sectors and a strong emphasis on embedding client voices in service design and delivery.

Qualifications

• Lived experience of mental health challenges and using personal experience to support continuous service improvement.
• Experience representing client views or as a group facilitator or Peer Mentor.
• Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with voluntary and statutory partners.
• Knowledge of local agencies that provide services to people experiencing mental health.
• Knowledge of co-production involvement and engagement best practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership on co-production across Pathfinder services, including line management of the Lived Experience Lead.
• Provide lived experience representation on strategic groups and forums.
• Lead on collection and analysis of client feedback and outcomes, linking with SPFT lived experience groups and West Sussex LEAG.
• Support the Senior Manager in delivering the strategic direction of the service and ensure service development is informed by lived experience perspectives.
• Embed voices of people with lived experience in the design and delivery of services.
