Job summary

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an Oliver McGowan Co-Trainer to work across Greater Manchester with partner trusts and authorities. You will bring lived experience of autism or learning disability or considerable experience supporting people with lived experience to co-deliver high-quality training in line with national standards.

The role focuses on ensuring voices and perspectives of autistic people and those with learning disability are central to training, with delivery

Qualifications

• Co-deliver the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training alongside Facilitating Trainers.
• Act as a recognised lived-experience specialist to enhance learning and influence practice.
• Lead learner engagement and facilitate discussions on sensitive topics.

Responsibilities

• Co-deliver the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training alongside accredited Facilitating Trainers.
• Act as a lived-experience specialist to enhance learning and influence professional practice.
• Lead learner engagement and facilitate discussions on health inequalities, discrimination, communication needs and person-centred care.
• Share lived experience to support learning, reflection and behavioural change.
