Job summary

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Oliver McGowan Facilitating Trainer to support delivery of the national training programme across Greater Manchester. You will co-facilitate with lived-experience experts and deliver engaging face-to-face and virtual sessions, ensuring person-centred learning and adherence to national standards.

The role requires delivering training, adapting methods for diverse audiences, and supporting reasonable adjustments to maximise learner outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering training or education.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Strong understanding of learning disability, autism, inclusion and safeguarding.
• Commitment to co-production and involving Experts by Experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism in line with national standards.
• Co-facilitate engaging sessions with Experts by Experience.
• Deliver face-to-face and virtual training using varied methods.
• Adapt training to diverse audiences while preserving programme integrity.
• Support participation with preparation and follow-up activities, ensuring reasonable adjustments.
• Build relationships with NHS colleagues and partner organisations.
• Monitor learner engagement and evaluate training effectiveness.
