Job summary

Secure24 is recruiting an Operations Controller to join our Control Team in Crawley. You will coordinate live patient movement across the UK, balancing safety, staff welfare and operational priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Based in our Crawley Control Room, this office-based role is 40 hours per week on a rota including day and night shifts. Starting rate £12.75 per hour, rising to £13.36 after probation; full safer recruitment checks apply.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using multiple systems in a live operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing live operational activity during your shift.
• Creating and maintaining accurate task records and logs.
• Coordinating with crews and healthcare partners to plan tasks.
• Allocating crews based on location, risk and capacity.
• Monitoring journeys and communicating with frontline staff.
• Escalating incidents or safety concerns to management.
• Providing smooth handovers to subsequent shifts.
