Job summary

Secure24 is seeking a Mental Health Transport Technician in Havant to support people with compassion and professionalism, delivering dignified care during transports and while assisting in secure settings. The role combines transport with direct patient support, including moving individuals under the Mental Health Act, remaining with them in a Section 136 suite, and recording observations.

Qualifications

• Must have full UK manual driving license for 2+ years.
• Ability to support distressed individuals while maintaining professionalism.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends.
• Clear boundaries and compassionate approach.
• DBS check and training will be completed.

Responsibilities

• Transport individuals under the Mental Health Act or in crisis, coordinating with police and mental health professionals.
• Stay with patients in a Section 136 suite as needed.
• Record observations and handovers accurately.
• De-escalate crises and provide reassurance.
• Maintain professional boundaries and dignity of patients.
