Active Assistance is seeking a compassionate Live-In Support Worker to join a dedicated care package in Malvern Link, Worcestershire. You will live with and support a warm gentleman with a spinal cord injury, including helping with daily activities, mobility, and companionship, while caring for his two dogs.

The role operates on a rolling rota with two weeks on/off, offering flexibility through a zero-hours contract.

We’re proud to deliver safe, reliable, and outcome-focused care that truly transforms lives.We’re currently looking for **compassionate and proactive Female Live-In Support Workers** to join a dedicated care package in **Malvern Link Worcestershire.**In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance. While the role is offered on a flexible zero-hours contract, the work is ongoing and typically provides a stable working pattern with the same client.**Meet the Client:**You’ll be supporting a **warm and active gentleman** living with a spinal cord injury. He enjoys staying involved in life as much as possible and values the companionship of his support team. A dedicated vegetarian, he loves sharing tasty veggie meals and needs some assistance with caring for his **two much-loved dogs.**This is a fantastic opportunity to build a meaningful relationship while making a real difference in someone's daily life.**When you'll be working:*** Rolling rota 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off* Living in the client’s home 24/7 when on shift* Zero hour contact with regular shifts as above**What you will be doing:*** Assist the client to exercise choice and control over their own lives as far as they are able in everyday matters as much as possible* Liaise with and support the family as required* Assist the client to ensure an adequate level of hygiene is maintained (including washing, dressing and toileting)* Driving the client and supporting him to access local amenities such as shops and leisure facilities and attend community events* Follow the service user plan as documented for the client* Maintain accurate and confidential records* Participate in manual handling procedures as specified for the client* Maintain professional boundaries with the client and their family members, adhering to direction from the care manager as appropriate**What you will have:*** Experience in care or a similar role* Full UK drivers' licence (to drive the clients vehicle)* Kindness, patience, and a proactive attitude* A love for dogs is a big plus!* Commitment to delivering person-centred care**What to look forward to:*** Salary **£127.50 per day** depending on UK experience and qualifications* An additional 14.07% holiday pay on every hour worked.* Zero-hours contract offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle.* Regular consistent work with set rolling rotas* A **Nest Personal Pension**account* Be recognised through our **Active Awards** programme* **Refer a Friend Scheme**and earn yourself up to **£1500**by recommending someone you know* ......and, of course, the support and guidance of our qualified clinical and business leadership teams so that you can really develop your career with Active Care in the Home*At Active Assistance, we want everyone to feel welcome and supported.
