Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a compassionate Female Live-In Support Worker to provide personalised, one-to-one care for a gentleman with a C5/6 spinal cord injury in his countryside home in Gloucestershire. You will build a trusting relationship, support independence, and ensure dignity and quality of life in daily activities.

Role includes two-week live-in rotations, driving assistance when needed, and paid specialist training.

Qualifications

• The right to work in the UK.
• A full UK driving licence and confident driving.
• Comfortable around dogs.
• Experience supporting individuals with a spinal cord injury is desirable.
• Willingness to live-in for two-week rotations and cover holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised, one-to-one support to the client.
• Assist with transport and driving when required.
• Build a trusting relationship and support independence and quality of life.
