Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking an experienced live-in Support Worker to care for a male client with a spinal cord injury in East Grinstead. You will provide person-centred support to help him maintain independence and a good quality of life at home.

Responsibilities include building trust, listening to preferences, and assisting with daily activities while ensuring safety and dignity at all times. The role operates on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off cycle under a flexible zero-hours contract.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, reliable and dedicated live-in care professional.
• Experience in person-centred care for adults with complex needs preferred.
• Willingness to work a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rota on a zero-hours contract.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care to a male client living with a spinal cord injury.
• Support independence, dignity and quality of life in the client's own home.
• Build a positive, trusting relationship and support the client to direct his own care.
