Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a compassionate Female Live-in Support Worker to provide one-to-one home-based care for a gentleman with a C3 incomplete spinal cord injury. The role focuses on daily living support, dignity, and independence in the client's own home.

You will work 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, with paid specialist training, holiday pay, Nest pension, and recognition through Active Awards. A driving license is required and you will join a supportive clinical and leadership team to grow

Qualifications

• Experience assisting individuals with complex care needs.
• Able to work a live-in schedule (2 weeks on/off) and drive between locations.
• Willing to provide personal care and catheter care.

Responsibilities

• Support with personal care and daily living activities
• Assist with neurogenic bowel management
• Provide catheter care and maintenance
• Work with a second care worker during morning care routines
• Encourage independence, choice and involvement in daily life
• Create a safe, comfortable home environment
