Job summary

The Guinness Partnership is seeking a live-in House Manager for Charlton Court in Prestwich, Manchester. This part-time, permanent role involves working 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with accommodation provided in a 2-bedroom flat on-site.

You will deliver high-quality housing services, perform welfare checks, safety inspections, and handle resident enquiries, while maintaining compliance records and basic repairs. A DBS check is required and paid by us.

Qualifications

• Friendly, customer-focused candidate with good communication skills.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, able to maintain records.
• Ability to carry out basic repairs and manual tasks.
• Experience with health and safety compliance and administration.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Daily welfare checks on residents.
• Test ward en call points and smoke alarms.
• Complete a monthly fire inspection of the communal building.
• Promptly report and log all maintenance issues/repairs.
• Be the first point of contact for resident enquiries.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date next-of-kin contact details.
• Complete all relevant Estates weekly paperwork.
• Attend monthly TBTs and any arranged training sessions.
• Walk the scheme to ensure grounds are maintained to a good standard.
