Job summary

The Guinness Partnership is seeking a live-in House Manager for Charlton Court in Prestwich, Manchester. This part-time, permanent role requires you to reside on-site in a 2-bedroom flat, working five hours per day from Monday to Friday.

You will deliver high-quality service to residents, manage health and safety records, and perform light maintenance tasks. A basic DBS check is provided by the employer.

Qualifications

• Friendly, customer-focused with good communication skills.
• Self-motivated and highly organised to maintain records.
• Comfortable with manual tasks to keep the scheme clean.
• Ability to carry out minor repairs and basic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily welfare checks and be the first point of contact for residents.
• Test fire alarms and warden call points; log maintenance issues.
• Complete monthly fire inspection and Estates paperwork.
• Maintain up-to-date contact details and resident information.
• Attend monthly training sessions and scheme walks to ensure high standards.
