Job summary

Medicare People is recruiting compassionate Live-in Care Healthcare Assistants (HCA) in Leatherhead to provide high-quality live-in care in clients' homes. The role offers flexible placements and ongoing support from a caring team, with accommodation and meals provided during assignments.

You'll deliver personalised care, help with daily routines, meals, and medication prompts, and work to enhance clients' independence and quality of life in Leatherhead and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support in a home care setting.
• Help clients with day-to-day living activities.
• Assist with personal care including washing and dressing.
• Encourage independence wherever possible.
• Prepare nutritious meals and support hydration.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Administer medication as required.
• Assist with household chores and laundry.
• Run errands and help with shopping.
• Record important information in care notes.
• Report changes in wellbeing promptly.
